How Much Does Kratom Cost?
Kratom is sold by weight, and almost nothing about how it is packaged makes two products easy to compare. One brand sells by the ounce, another by the gram, another by capsule count. A $49 product can cost you less than a $29 one, and nothing on either label tells you that.

What the number means
Price per gram is the retail price divided by the total grams in the package. Nothing is folded in and nothing is rounded in anyone’s favor.
Capsules cost more per gram than powder, and the reason is mechanical rather than a markup on quality. You are paying for the capsule shells and for the machine time to fill them. What is inside is the same material sold in the pouch beside it. The grams in the table are the kratom inside the capsules, not the weight of the capsules themselves, so powder and capsules are compared on the same basis.
Capsule counts also convert to grams differently by brand, because a capsule holds a fixed weight of powder. Ours hold 0.5 grams. Other brands run from 0.5 to 1 gram. The footnote under the table lists them, and it is the reason a 100 count from one brand and a 100 count from another are not the same quantity of kratom.
Why extracts are not in the table
An extract is a concentrated preparation, and its alkaloid content is measured differently from milled leaf. Running it through a price-per-gram calculation against loose powder returns a number that looks like a comparison and is not one. We leave extracts out rather than publish a figure that misleads.
If you are new to kratom, an extract is not where to start. That has been our position since we opened and it does not move.
Free shipping is part of the price
Every order here ships free, with no minimum and no threshold to reach.
That belongs in the arithmetic. A vendor charging $8 to ship 250 grams has added a little over three cents per gram to what you actually pay, and it never appears on the price tag. Before you compare our number to anyone else’s, add their shipping to theirs.
The cheapest gram is not automatically the one to buy
Price per gram tells you one thing and it tells you accurately. It tells you nothing about what is inside.
A cheaper gram from a vendor with no current lab report is not a better deal. It is a different product with an unknown in it. Read the report, then compare the price. In that order.
